Colima Crab Vessel

Across two millennia, a crab emerges once again from clay. My newest ceramic work is a recreation of the ancient Colima Crab Vessel of Western Mexico (c. 100 BCE–250 CE), inspired by the masterful effigy vessels created by the Colima culture. Part sculpture, part vessel, it celebrates the enduring relationship between art, nature, and the human hand.
